Eric McKinley Thompson brings a rare combination of expertise to the table. A jazz musician and PhD student at the University of Iowa College of Education, Eric also serves as Assistant Director at The Academy for Scholastic and Personal Success — a nonprofit focused on African American cultural education and academic achievement. Whether you're learning to keep time or learning to write a thesis, Eric meets you where you are.
